The Knuckles/Rouge levels make me contemplate genocide on the Chao in the Chao Garden (which is an overrated pet simulator that I could give less of a f*** about). Tails/Eggman's levels control horribly and the lock-on sound gives me PTSD. Shadow's levels are really boring and don't have any life to them. Sonic has no good levels after Metal Harbor. There are only two levels that I genuinely enjoy playing (City Escape (duh) and Metal Harbor), and they're two of the first four levels in the entire game.
