If I were to ask something like, " Does you sister have big breast"īasicaly I'm saying if I were to constatly try to troll and bring nothing up about the stream or thearting the streamer or his/her viewers, I then could see a getting baned. While VIPs are immune to Twitch chat option settings including Automod, Block Hyperlinks, and slow/sub-only/follower-only modes, they are not immune to actions by channel moderators. If I were to say something like, " I'll find where you live and do something negative too you" (not going to say what had in mind in fear of getting banned on steam) If I were to say something like, " I want to F your mom in the A" i could see getting a ban. In conclusinon I want to briefly disscuss to you readers what I think should constitute as a "proper and just ban" ( it maybe in the Twitch Guidlnes as well, idk). I did not get banned but temprolarly got silenced but still, i didn't do any thing (that i know of) against Twitch Guidlines so why was i getting tempted? Followed by a, "when I say MARIO, you say KART!!!!!!!". In another instance was again playing with another streamer and said, " why you no play Mario Kart", they igonred me and the said as if I was chanting " MARIO KART, MARIO KART". But I still got banned for whatever reason. A bunch of words were exchanged and I want to note that i didtn't cuse didn't thearthen like a typical troll. Thanks for bringing that point up ElleRows. And we still cant Mute them anyway, because the permissions are on in.

Completely agree that for peoples personal safety, revealing previous usernames would be a risk to many. i do not want to be able to be muted by my mods or anyone beneath me in.

Now mind you i said "that was gay" not "your gay", big difference yall. If we could see the full history of a users logs, regardless of username history, mods can then understand why users with 'blank logs' that are ban evading were banned.

The mod then said thet he/she was gay and try to pluck heart strings with not only the audience but the streamer as well. Then i said that "i will stop trying to mess with the streamer". His mod then later said that i was being offensive and that i need to stop and i recipcated in by saying " thats gay", then later said "jk". I then said in an obvious joking manner, " well what about crack". They said that it was bad for you lungs and yada yada yada. Now to give you a very basic rundown, I had asked why Tea Time why they don't smoke weed and live in califonia.

These are things you can do before you go live, and can be activated directly through Twitch without the need to download or install anything extra on your device. As you can tell by the title of this discussion is about the twitch streamers that have power hungry, cry baby, losers who think they matter in this world as your mods? I mean really, why? One of the reason i'm making this post is because i've been blocked by a certian streamer who mainly got his/her fan base by streaming dbd lets call them "Tea Time" (not his/her real streamer name btw).

There are some things that can be done to help minimise the chances of a hate raid occurring. That means that a stream can quickly be derailed by these bots, and the lasting emotional effects on streamers are even worse. Streamers and mods (users who help manage the streams for creators) can find it difficult to quickly diffuse the situation, as it takes a while to ban all the users and delete all the hateful messages from the chat. That includes an open and ongoing dialogue about creator safety.- Twitch 11, 2021

You’re asking us to do better, and we know we need to do more to address these issues. A handful of people might make a living as Twitch moderators, but you shouldn’t count on it becoming your primary income source. Even then, a streamer might take a few days or weeks off, leaving you without money for long stretches. We’ve seen a lot of conversation about botting, hate raids, and other forms of harassment targeting marginalized creators. So, do mods get paid on Twitch Yes, but only if you work for one of the big guys. Often, these bot accounts have variations of similar names, and come in large numbers. This is when a user comes in with bot accounts and overwhelms the chat with abhorrent, abusive messages and imagery. However, hate raids are the opposite of this.
